After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to Arusha airport where you will board a scheduled flight to the Serengeti National Park. Upon landing at the airstrip, you will be met by your professional Safari Guide who will take to  an exciting game viewing drive en-route your camp, Serengeti Safari Camp. This is a mobile camp that  has no permanent location but moves several times a year to keep up with the migratory herds as they make their epic journey northwards, so it could be pitched in one of a number of different locations in Serengeti National Park, depending on the time of year. In June, this camp may still be found in the western corridor, where great columns of wildebeests move north as one, and between July and October it is more likely to be occupying a quiet corner of the northern Serengeti, close to the rivers for dramatic river crossing experiences. While you are at Serengeti Safari Camp, you will enjoy exclusive use of a private specially built 4×4 tour  vehicle and guide, this means that, with the help of your guide you are at liberty to set your own itinerary, at your own pace. We recommend that you rise early before sunrise, so that that you can depart your camp with picnics at dawn for long days moving with the herds across the plains, returning only in time for ice-cold sundowners. On your second day of your stay in Serengeti National Park, you will spend your time exploring the area around camp, your private guide and vehicle will help you plan your time, catering specifically to your needs. You might also want to head out looking for predators. With this many herd animals around, it will not be long before you spot them. Cheetah are particularly common in the Serengeti and it is rare to go on a game drive which does not include lion sightings. Driving at dawn, you may also stand a chance of spotting an elusive leopard, or perhaps a civet, serval or African wild cat, returning from a night hunting.
In the evening, your Safari guide will  pack some sundowners and together you will head out to an elevated spot on a kopje for overlooking one of the rivers where you will enjoy the sunset as you watch the wildlife: an excellent way to end your day in the bush. In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel and you will travel to the Tarangire National Park. This park with its huge baobab trees, the perennial Tarangire River and seasonal swamps is home to the largest elephant herds in northern Tanzania. After an extensive game drive, you will leave the park in the late afternoon and drive to the your accommodation for overnight. Alternatively you can base yourself at the lodge, immersed in the pool in between game drives, and pop out for short excursions on foot or in the vehicle. Migratory herds and epic river crossings aside, the resident game at Lamai provides a cornucopia of wildlife delights, with wild animals including zebra, topi, gazelles, impala, buffalo and giraffe to add to the plains game. Predators such as  Lion and cheetah are also common in the area, and the elusive leopard stalks the rocks and river lines.
This morning, you  depart camp for the nearby Kogatende airstrip with  packed lunch from the camp.At the airstrip, you catch the 1130hrs scheduled flight to Arusha airport, landing at 12:40. Upon arrival, do optional shopping in town before going to your hotel for lunch. After lunch, a day room to freshen up will be provided check in for your international departure flight leaving later today.
Tanzania is great to visit any time of year. Most people avoid the rainy months of April, May, and November. Some travelers like to go during the peak migration season of wildebeest, zebras and number of antelopes in Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Highlands and Masai Mara in Kenya. Not only that most people also like to lay on the sunshine of the Zanzibar beach lure water and white sand beaches as well as diving to the coral reefs.

With modernized World most of the lodges and tented camps serve breakfast and dinner, typically buffet-style. European, Asian and African cuisines are served in a high standard. Due to the fact that you will be spending your afternoon doing game drive often you will have to take your lunch box with you.
If by chance the itinerary shows that you will take your hot lunch at the hotel then there is no need of packed lunch. Basically lunch at the lodge follows with a rest before proceeding with late afternoon game drive.
The great extraordinary animal kingdom migration is an annual migration of about 1 million wildebeest, 300000 zebras and 200000 gazelles migrating from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro crater and contiguous Masai Mara National Reserve searching for fresh grasses as well as water. This is a honeymoon (easy to hunt) period for the crocodile in Grumeti River and other carnivores such as lion and leopard while the migration is taking place. The best time to see the migration in Tanzania is January-March and June-August and in Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya it is often best September-October. These are also the most popular times to go, so you will need to book well in advance.
